Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A manatee rises for a breath on the calm surface near a blue freshwater spring. The influx of outside water mixes to make the water more aqua green. There are fish, bream, Lepomis spp., present. Horizontal orientation split image lit with sun rays and blue sky with numerous trees circling the spring. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
