Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A curious adult manatee floats near the surface in the warm blue freshwater of a spring. It is brightly lit by strong warming rainbow sun rays. More manatee rest below. Vertical orientation with blue water and rainbow sun rays. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
