Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. Two male manatee calves take a break from intimate play for both to catch a breath at the surface. One of a series of calf intimate play or cavorting play behaviors. Vertical orientation, blue water with rainbow sun rays and reflections. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
