Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A male follows a female manatee back in to the springs. Fish, bream, Lepomis spp., and mangrove snapper, Lutjanus griseus, are present. A tranquil, natural scene lit by soft light rays. Horizontal orientation with sun rays, shadows and beautiful blue spring water. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
