Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A series of male and female courting or cavorting behavior with more manatee in the background. The couple swims into strong, warming sunlight. The male appears to tickle the female as she takes a breath. Horizontal orientation with beautiful blue spring water, reflection and rainbow light. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
