Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A group of manatees rest at the perimeter of the springs where the water can become a little cloudy. On this cold winter days it is a warm spot for manatees and fish, bream, Lepomis spp., that gather near the manatees. Horizontal orientation with reflections.
