Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A curious manatee with snout and whiskers prominent looks out. Fish, mangrove snapper, Lutjanus griseus, and bream, Lepomis spp., are present. Horizontal orientation in front of the sanctuary with mixing blue and green waters and rainbow sun rays. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
