On the Spring Equinox 2019, a mother manatee swims into the freshwater warm springs with her appx. two week old calf. The mother manatee is keeping her calf safe beside her while moving from Big Sister Spring to Pretty Sister Spring. USGS Manatee Individual Photo-Identification System IDed the mother.
