Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. Series of a female manatee relaxing from a rightside up position to upside down swimming. A female floats rightside up near a warm blue springhead. She is reflected on the calm surface. Other manatee rest by the springs. An Atlantic needlefish, Strongylura marina, swims nearby. Tranquil and undisturbed natural behavior. Horizontal orientation with blue water, reflections and sun rays. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
