Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. An adult female manatee relaxes while floating over a warm blue freshwater spring. Strong warming sun rays light her belly as she rolls. Another manatee rests in the background. Horizontal orientation with blue spring water and sun rays.
