Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. An adult scratches itself with its flippers whileher curious calf is in the background. Fish, sheepshead, Archosargus probatocephalus, and a bream, Lepomis spp., are present. Horizontal orientation with rainbow sun rays and mixing blue and green water. In front of the manatee sanctuary. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
