Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A male manatee rubs its snout on submerged tree parts. This behavior could be investigation, or it could be scraping of certain root covers for a snack as there is little to eat near the freshwater springs. Horizontal orientation with blue water and reflection. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
