Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A manatee swims towards a warm blue freshwater springhead on a cool cloudy day. There are propeller scars on its back. Horizontal orientation split image with submerged tree roots and trees circling the springs. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
