Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. Series of a mature adult male manatee with scars resting and warming himself over a large springhead. An adult male manatee appears to walk while floating, guided with his flippers in the sand. Submerged tree roots are in the background and some fish, sheepshead, Archosargus probatocephalus are following the manatee. Tranquil warm blue freshwater and rainbow sun rays enhance the peaceful scene Horizontal orientation with blue water and rainbow sun rays.
