Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. Four manatees rest and warm themselves by a freshwater springhead pumping out clear blue water. A whitefin sharksucker, Echenesis neucratoides, is attached to the underside of the surfacing manatee. A boardwalk or viewing platform is visible amidst the numerous trees. Horizontal orientation split image with sun rays and blue water. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
