Since I was in the middle of a cross-country drive (and dive!) this last September; I neglected to let everyone know about some of my underwater photographs of the newborn manatee, I named “Angel”, published in this Issue #4 of WetPixel Quarterly.

Of course I’m honored to have my photographs chosen, in what is the best quality underwater photography magazine around today; but primarily I’m excited to have my photographs alongside an article on manatee conservation by Robert K. Bonde.  Mr. Bonde is the premier field expert on the manatee in the world and I must also add - he is a very nice guy!!!  If you would like to read more about Bob Bonde and his work with the manatee, plus a photo I took of him, here is a previous post: Bob Bonde - The Manatee Guru.
